Blæst. The new force in outerwear, built for those who demand both function and style. Set out to challenge the status quo and speak to the modern, aesthetically conscious adventurer. Named after the Norwegian term for “strong wind”, Blæst channels the raw energy of nature into every detail, blending technical innovation, quality, and sustainability.
The target audience needs versatile garments that can transition seamlessly from forest hikes to city life, giving them the freedom to express themselves however they choose. The challenge was to break away from traditional perceptions of the category and create a unique experience by combining technical features with a personal, progressive design.
The notion of "Natural Disruption" highlights the contrast between organic elements and technical functionality, influencing every aspect of the visual identity and e-commerce experience. This is seen in a bold, symbolic logo, distinctive typography that appears "blown" across surfaces, and a dynamic grid system for the website. Imagery, an essential part of the visual toolkit focuses on natural elements like rain and wind to create an authentic narrative, with locations blending urban and rural environments.
